SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2026 Postponed |Official notification Out: Staff Selection Commission has announced on 17th February 2026 to postponed the SSC GD Constable CBT exam in Central Armed Forces & SSF, Rifleman in Assam Rifles exam which was tentatively held on 23rd February 2026 without stating the reason. Also Staff Selection Commission didn’t announce a fresh CBT exam date except mentioned a line clearly indicating that fresh exam dates will be announced soon as per Commission notice HQ-EC033/7/2025-EC dated 02.01.2026.
As per previous notification of examination 2026 was held on 23rd February & admit card tentative date was 19th – 20th February 2026. Now Schedule has changed due to postponement of examination also the Admit Card will be generated 2-3 days prior from the proposed examination date.
Commission also mentioned that Slots selection facility will not be applicable for the CBT examination. The City will be live before 8-10 days prior to date of examination. The test will be conducted in 4 shifts due to the nature of recruitment. Ans. Yes, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks in CBT exam.
