- Thorough Embedded C programming knowledge & experience (especially pointers, structures, linked lists etc.) & Assembly programming knowledge
- Practical experience in developing device drivers using any of the standard protocols, such as SPI, UART, USB, etc.,
- Solid knowledge and experience in RTOS (mutexes, spinlocks, queues, signaling, events, deferred function calls and callbacks, multithreaded and multiprocess environments, concurrent scenarios, etc.), knowledge of Linux, kernel knowledge, and user space.
- Extensive experience with operating systems and microprocessor/computer architecture.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Hardware and architectural knowledge / experience (Processor Architecture, Cache, interrupts, Memory barriers, Strong ordering etc.,)
- Knowledge/experience with JTAG emulators, simulation environments, and debugging.
- It would be great to have hands-on experience or knowledge in Inter processor.
- Communication Protocol (IPCP), debug logging framework, heap management, and timer implementations.
